Andean Cock-of-the-rock Manu The Manu Biosphere Reserve is a UNESCO World Heritage Site designated to protect the globally important Amazon rainforest in and around Manu National Park, southeastern Peru. The park is divided into different areas: the restricted use zone, the reserved zone, the recuperation zone and the cultural zone. Survival Tips 1. Wearing long sleeves to prevent mosquitos bite 2. Put down the mosquito net before dust 3. Always keep a safe distance of 2 meters with snakes 4. Make a lot of noise and stand tall when encounter big cats e.g. jaguar and puma 5.
